About

Jo Hanul explores how experience is structured and perceived through two practices: UX/PM and sound and media art.

In UX/PM, he translates the requirements and workflows of complex operational environments into information architecture and interface design; in art, he examines how experience, including emotion, is translated through technology into sound, light, movement, and vibration.

The two practices meet in his interest in the difference and relationship between designed or measured structures and lived perception, an inquiry he is currently extending through crossmodal correspondence and relationships among the senses.
